The audience in The Bob Newhart Show is probably the best sitcom audience. They pick up on subtle humor every time and always give the proper reaction.

Memory unlocked.

Gilligan hit and I'm in the middle of an episode where Gilligan falls into a pit and discover gold. It somehow triggered a memory of me watching this show as a really young boy and being creeped out by an enormous spider. I looked it up to see if it was a real memory or if I confabulated it and it was a real episode. Lol. Looks like it's about 50 episodes away or so, so I'll have to come back to this post when I get there.

I did a little bit of digging (made sure it was spoiler free) on The Bob Newhart Show. It's the show I'm most getting into at the moment and it has been hitting on the wheel frequently. It rank for 6 seasons and I wanted to see what seasons are generally ranked from best to worst. As much as I'm enjoying the show, I'm halfway through season 2, and was fully expecting it to be one of the shows where fans generally consider the first and second seasons to be the best, but to my surprise those two seasons were ranked the worst. Apparently 3-5 are absolutely top notch and season 6 is considered to be a little below those 3 in terms of overall quality. So I'm even more stoked to get deeper into this show. Bob Newhart himself is sneaking his way into being mentioned among my all time favorite comedians/actors. His deadpan is superb.
