While I can appreciate “the CIA killed my dad and brother” as a political talking point, I don’t trust the RFK campaign. I think he is being manipulated by some snakes.

RFK Jr. continues to poll very well. He is carving out an interesting coalition from both the right, center and left. In the end I’m not sure he steals more votes from either party. I’d be curious where his numbers go if he stopped going on about the vaccine stuff.

The abortion thing is a good example of how it can be more beneficial to pursue a goal in politics than to actually reach it. They were a dog chasing cars for 50 years on this issue and after finally doing the thing, it’s killing them.

I read the book before Scorsese picked up the option on it, and it couldn’t be more historically accurate. It is a true story and an insane one.
