Re: Favorite Artist by Decade?
Was going to put Eminem for the 2000s but remembered Slim Shady LP was '99. Two great albums not enough to get that spot.

Re: Favorite Artist by Decade?
1960s - The Doors, Rolling Stones 1970s - Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin 1980s - Metallica, Iron Maiden 1990s - 2Pac/Biggie, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam 2000s - Kanye West 2010s - Kendrick Lamar I like plenty of rock artists from the 2000s-today but not well enough to feel any were worthy of putting on any...

Also, no ideological base is more important than the neee to survive. Most join ISIS primarily because they're poor as shit, that's just reality. It's not "taking their side". It's not "feeling sympathy". We're adults here, let's think like adults. We live in a nuanced world wher...

Re: Escalating Terrorist Events
Neither if you has offered up a single original idea for the problem here. Manchester attacked was a British citizen raised in the U.K. So Foo saying we flung open the doors is a massive irrelevance. As is any "extreme vetting" lauded for immigrants or refugees. If anything the problem is...

Onto what promises to be the most hyped championship series ever. Cavs gotta slow things down, dominate the boards. And they need GS to play badly, frankly.

Re: Intergenerational Reparations
I'm highly amused that Foo would even give it the old college try. The worst part really is that I think there are two very valid takes on the idea of reparations and guilt. But Foo seems to have gone for neither of those takes, and just gone back to his par-for-the-course anti-liberal spiel. Sure....

Not sure your winner/loser life philosophy is morally applicable here...Foo wrote:It fits directly into the leftist desire to make losers into winners, without regard to whether or not they earned it, and cut down the winners, because of jealousy.

I've not seen the Thor movies, Ant-Man, Civil War or Dr. Strange. Maybe one or two others, I really don't know. Level 1 tier: Avengers, Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy These three are awesome. Peak Marvel fun-ness. Level 2 tier: Captain America, Winter Soldier, Incredible Hulk Didn't love any of t...
