Re: Recently Watched Movies
Godzilla x Kong. Was alright. Seems like each film in just increasing the silly dial ever so slightly. Godzilla suplexed a motherfucker which was great. Haven't seen him pull a move like that in ages. Baby Kong was dumb. Godzilla Minus One. Much better than the above. Humane. Lots of political "...

Re: Recently Watched Movies
Arcadian. In a future where creatures hunt us in the night, watch as a teenage boy puts everyone in danger because he got a boner. The creatures are...weird. Still not sure how I feel about them, but they're definitely different. The camerawork is pretty shitty; it's almost entirely handheld and whe...

Re: New Shit
Dunno what to do about this email nonsense. I just manually activated someone's account since shit's still fucked. I don't get much time off, so it's hard to find time to deal with support(the last time took over two hours just for them to say "wait, it'll be fixed soon").

Re: Broken Nightmare on Elm Street Emulator?
It makes sense for the game to collect them, though, since it's part of the plot: collect the bones to burn them.
At least the emu works and you don't have to fuck with adding a new rom.

Re: Broken Nightmare on Elm Street Emulator?
First, did you get all the bones? Been ages since I've played, but I'm pretty sure you need to collect all the bones before you can go to the next screen. If you've got them all, then yeah, it's likely an issue with either the emu or the rom. I've got a good copy of the rom I can send you if you wan...

Re: Recently Watched Movies
Satanic Hispanics. Anthology horror with an hispanic theme. First, awesome name. Second, the wrap-around story stars Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite. Partly serious, partly cheesy fun. The stories involve ghosts, a vampire, a witch, and some demons. The last story is pure comedy, but is worth it for ho...

Re: April 11th 2024
Hmm can't remember if I watched that or not It was easily forgettable, so that's not surprising. It's about a family that goes to visit another family and nothing happens for about an hour or so other than the hosts making the guests feel slightly uncomfortable. Nothing happens until the last ten m...

Re: April 11th 2024
Turns out there's a remake of Speak No Evil, a danish film that came out a couple years ago. One, the film was kinda shit. Two, it was already in english(with the occasional subtitle here and there). I'm struggling to find a reason for the remake other than hoping the star power will bring in ticket...

Re: April 7th 2024
A friend of mine was watching the director's cut of Nightbreed for the first time(he never saw the original cut) and turned it off because it was boring. I felt the same when I watched it years ago and told him he should watch the theatrical cut, as it's better. Do people prefer the director's cut o...

I don't know how I'm so out of the loop with new horror, but I haven't heard of any of the movies you guys have been mentioning lately.

Re: March 29th 2024
Saw the trailer for the sequel to Blood and Honey and it looks much better. Honestly, it looks like they just said fuck the first film and made something different, which is a good call.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
Frogman. Found footage film about a guy trying to get footage of the frogman that he saw as a kid. It took a turn I didn't expect, but still ended the way you think it would. It does set itself up for a sequel, though, which is weird for a found footage film. It's short and decent, so worth a watch ...

Re: March 21st 2024
Also would like to reiterate how much I enjoyed the first 2 episodes of X-Men '97. It felt just like I was back in the 90's watching X-Men: The Animated Series. I got them downloaded, but haven't watched 'em yet. I just hope they didn't change the voices, or at least, not much. Didn't check to see ...

Re: March 20th, 2024
Slaughter, again, I am sorry for my pro- Barbie posts No reason to be sorry. I was just stating how profit is meaningless in regards to whether or not a film is good. Look at The Thing, Shawshank Redemption, Big Trouble in Little China, fucking Willy Wonka. All box office bombs, all good films.
