(Reviewed by Honorius) - I love Romero's trilogy of the dead
so I wasn't expecting much of the dawn remake. In fact I didn't like the
idea at all but when I saw this flick I was glad I did. This remake was
indeed very good and the only thing I didn't like was the zombies were
running...HELL NO...Zombies are slow...very slow... |
Anyways if u like zombie flicks u must own the dvd which has a
lot of extras. Especially the special report is great. The movie follow the
steps of the 1978 version, a lot of gore is in there and a good storyline and
as I heard there will be a dawn of the dead 2 soon.
I give 4 out of 5 stars because zombies...DON'T RUN

(Reviewed by DOMD) - This version is quite good. No,
it's not the original, as the original has the stronger characters, motives,
and social commentary, but the remake's still got some big guns in it's
corners, unlike some other lousy remake of a classic. The biggest
reason this remake turned out good? It respected it's original source
while creating it's own.
One of the best movies to come out this year, and the best horror film of
2004. |
